In 2015, GASTRADE took another step on the way to ensure higher quality of its products opening a modern testing laboratory. This department is equipped with the state of art of testing equipment’s in order to perform all tests required for product certification of fittings used in the construction of piping systems for the distribution of gas, water and sewerage, according to EN 12201 and EN 1555 standards. We have also employed a Licensed Materials Engineer in order to work full time with this new department guaranteeing not only the quality of the manufactured products as well as research for new products and materials.
With this new facility our company presents a new service not just for internal use but as well to the external market. This testing lab is full equipped with the most reliable equipment’s to perform tests like the Melt Flow Rate, OIT, Density Evaluation, Tensile tests and hydrostatic pressure at ambient temperature or elevated temperatures t different pressures.
